Rob Gregory,  Head of Centre said,“Being awarded these awards  is a real coup for the Centre and shows that we offer young people the type of high quality learning experiences they really benefit from. We're thrilled to get official recognition for our efforts and we look forward to welcoming even more children and young people from Milton Keynes to the Centre.”

“Longrigg Centre is unique in that pupils assist with all cooking and cleaning duties around the house. This is rarely seen now in outdoor centres and in the inspector’s opinion, this coupled with a very highly qualified and dedicated staff team delivering adventurous experiences to all pupils forms a valuable part of the pupils’ residential and educational experience.   This centre is a great asset for Milton Keynes and has been awarded the AHOEC Gold Standard Badge for quality among outdoor education centres.”
Anne Salisbury AALA Inspector December, 2010.
